1. Eligibility

 

    •    Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. If a person under the age of 18 wishes to enter, they will have to have their parent or             guardian enter on their behalf.

    •    Participants must be legal residents of the United States.

    •    Employees of Totally Obsessed Outdoors LLC, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members               are not eligible to participate.

 

2. Entry Period

 

    •    The contest begins on August 15th, 2024, and ends on February 14th, 2025. Entries submitted after the end date will not be considered.

 

3. How to Enter

 

    •    Go to okhunts.com and sign up for the Wingspan Showdown via the link on the homepage.

    •    Only one entry per person is allowed.

    •    Contestants can enter at any point during the contest period, but only geese harvested after the contestant registered are eligible for the                   contest.

 

4. Prizes

 

Longest Overall Wingspan Canada Goose

 

    •    First Prize: A new autoloading shotgun (brand to be determined), 1 pack of Big Al’s X-14 Canada Goose Decoys, 1 Gander Valley Custom Calls Goose          Call, and an Oklahoma Fowl Company hunting accessory pack.

    •    Second Prize: 1 pack of Big Al’s X-14 Canada Goose Decoys, 1 Gander Valley Custom Calls Goose Call, and an Oklahoma Fowl Company hunting                accessory pack.

    •    Third Prize: 1 Gander Valley Custom Calls Goose Call, and an Oklahoma Fowl Company hunting accessory pack.

 

Shortest Overall Wingspan Canada Goose

 

    •    First Prize: 1 pack of Big Al’s X-14 Canada Goose Decoys, 1 Gander Valley Custom Calls Goose Call, and an Oklahoma Fowl Company hunting                     accessory pack.

    •    Second Prize: 1 Gander Valley Custom Calls Canada Goose Call, and an Oklahoma Fowl Company hunting accessory pack.

 

Largest and Smallest Goose in the Speck and Light goose categories will also be awarded prizes.

Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided at the sponsor’s sole discretion. The sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. The prizes will be progressive, as more contestants enter the amount of prizes and their values will increase.

 

5. Winner Selection and Notification

 

    •    The contestants with a goose in 1st, 2nd and 3rd that has the longest wingspans and the contestants with a goose in 1st, 2nd and 3rd that has the                 shortest wingspan in each category on February 14th, 2025, at 11:59 PM CST will be declared the winners and will receive the items described in                   the prize description.

    •    Only a contestants largest or smallest goose they submit will count, i.e. if you submit three Canada Geese for largest only the largest one will count.

    •    Winners will be notified via telephone call and/or text messsage within five (5) days following the selection of winners.

    •    Totally Obsessed Outdoors LLC shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for             winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.

    •    If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within [number] days from the time award notification was sent, or fails             to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

 

6. How to Measure the Wingspan of a Goose

 

    •    Lay the goose on its back on a flat surface and fully extend its wings.

    •    While taking a video use a measuring tape to measure from the longest tip of one wing to the longest tip of the other wing to the nearest 1/16".

    •    Ensure the measurement is taken in a straight line across the wingspan.

    •    Record the measurement in inches and submit this measurement along with a photo of the goose with wings extended and the measuring tape clearly           visible in the photo.

    •    Any measurements that appear to be inaccurate or falsified will result in disqualification from the contest.

 

7. General Conditions

​

          Geese cannot be harvested for the sole purpose of entering this contest, geese that are harvested as a part of a contestants                 lawfully taken bag during legal hunting season may be entered for consideration into this contest.   

​

    •    Totally Obsessed Outdoors LLC reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the contest, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or                 any other factor beyond Totally Obsessed Outdoors LLC’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the contest, as determined             by Totally Obsessed Outdoors LLC in its sole discretion.

    •    Totally Obsessed Outdoors LLC reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the           operation of the contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

    •    Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should               such an attempt be made, Totally Obsessed Outdoors LLC reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by           law.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

 

    •    By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Totally Obsessed Outdoors LLC and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, and promotion                       agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss,                     litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the                     contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof.

 

9. Disputes

 

    •    This contest is governed by the laws of the United States and Oklahoma, without respect to conflict of law doctrines.

    •    As a condition of participating in this contest, the participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and                   causes of action arising out of or connected with this contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively                     before a court located in Oklahoma City, OK having jurisdiction.
