Johnny Werth
Meet Johnny Werth, a seasoned hunter whose life reads like a blockbuster adventure movie, minus the stunt doubles. Raised in the rugged landscapes of Northern Michigan, Johnny could out-fish and out-hunt most folks before he could even drive. Seeking bigger thrills, he jetted off to Northern Oklahoma courtesy of the US Air Force in 2005, where he quickly traded his uniform for camouflage on weekends, founding Cleared Hot Outfitters. But all good things come to an end, and he closed that chapter when he left Oklahoma.
His story took a wild turn when he moved to Missouri in 2013, kicking off the epic saga of Totally Obsessed Outdoors, which is still thriving to this day. Between helping pilots not get lost in the skies above and two not-so-touristy trips to Iraq, Johnny became the go-to guy for anyone wanting to chase ducks, geese, or just share a good hunting yarn.
Post-service, Johnny couldn’t resist the call of Oklahoma’s wild, returning in 2017 to shape young minds in the high-stakes world of Air Traffic Control, ensuring pilots weren’t just flying in circles. When he’s not directing ducks or geese to their final resting place, Johnny’s on the ground with Heat Seekers Thermal Big Game Recovery, a venture as cool as it sounds, dedicated to helping hunters recover their game, ensuring no animal’s parting gift is just a wild goose chase.
With a life less ordinary, Johnny Werth is more than just an outdoorsman—he’s a storyteller, a conservationist, and, on occasion, the stealthiest shadow in the woods.

Casey Johnson
Dedicated Hunter | Military Service | Duck & Goose Calling Enthusiast Hey there! I'm Casey D Johnson, currently serving in the Air Force and proud to call Park Rapids, Minnesota home. My journey into hunting began with a passion for fishing, specializing in bass and walleye across the lakes of Minnesota. In 2000, I ventured into the world of waterfowl hunting, starting with ducks and geese. Since then, I've pursued my passion across diverse landscapes from Missouri to North Dakota, Oklahoma to Texas, honing my skills in the art of goose and duck calling for over 9 years. Beyond personal pursuits, I've been involved with Totally Obsessed Outdoors, contributing to guided hunts since 2017. This experience has deepened my understanding of wildlife conservation and ethical hunting practices. When I'm not in the field, you can often find me casting lines or enjoying the beauty of Minnesota's outdoors.
